Why does Childlink need my financial support?
Adoption is a lifetime commitment for everyone involved. As a charity a number of our activities depend on donations.
What would my money be spent on?
- Producing information and promotional materials about adoption
- Recruiting adopters to meet the needs of waiting children
- Running workshops and other events for service users
- Developing a resource bank of books, toys and games for adopted children
- Supporting adopters as their children grow up
- Being a point of contact for birth parents who gave up their children for adoption
- Helping adopted adults to locate their birth relatives
- Acting as intermediaries for people separated by adoption
